JL Jazz Tele
A commissioned work that features a Sapele neck and body as well as a Katolox fingerboard and Ohia top. Single Gibson 57 Classic in the neck position. Pup ring and knobs are made from the same Katolox as the fingerboard. It was strung with flatwound D'Addario Chromes (.011"). This is really nice. It was tough to send it on it's way.
Hi Chris - Just opened the guitar and have not been able to put it down. I love the mellow chocolate-y look of the top. The satin finish definitely adds to this. The guitar plays great - lots of response on the pup, comfortable board, easy access to the upper end. Thanks so much for your professionalism (and perfectionism) during this project.
