Red Bass Strat

I built the neck of this guitar in 1996. The original body I made with it was a very dense peice of solid mahogany. As I got older I wanted a custom strat with a warmer sound that was also very light weight. This solid basswood body is caped with a flame redwood top. The heal contour of the neck was also reshaped to allow better access in the upper registers. The before and after pictures can be seen below. Most recently I've removed the standard bridge and installed a Super Vee Bladerunner. This is my go to guitar. Seymour Duncan Custom 5 in the bridge with a customized Seymour Duncan Full Shred in the neck all wired to a Megaswitch model P and a Bladerunner tremolo. It's the most versitile guitar I have.
